Im doing a bit of dart /weave/run action at the moment as I try and get some sunset shots for research into some new oil paintings that Im doing....These images 'happened' about 15 minutes ago and are the direct result of 'freeze your arse off' weather conditions and a strange cloud coverage that is occuring... as it looks like its about to snow with the clouds acting all dark and mysterious...
This is definitely one aspect i love about winter.... the sunsets!
These little paintings {above+below} are the start of this series that I'm attempting to procure... and they are something different for me...
a little bit traditional
a little bit 'vanitas'
and a little bit mad...
as oil painting can truly be a 'difficult pleasure'!!!

The new paintings are exquisite, you have captured the light perfectly, they are serene and a little eerie at the same time. I love the listing red bottomed boat on mishart as well.
I also love the owl works posted on the Le Fil blog - can't wait to see them in real life.
