Here we are again...
The 4th installment of the Object group exhibition under the moniker of make...
This year we have called it MAKE believe and immediately I thought of this tiny stanza....
In every dream there is a truth
In every myth there is a reality
In every fairytale there is a secret longing
and in every happy ending there is a beginning -

In the show this year there are 16 people exhibiting with photography, jewellery, installation, drawing, ceramics to name just a few of the artistic mediums on show! Diverse indeed!
We have always had fun with these shows as they are just a small way of experimenting and enjoying the process of playing with ideas that you may not have the chance to exhibit in any other circumstances...
So it can be a big mixed bag of lollies!
But isn't there always one favourite in the bag?

Ive been a little stressed this week.

Stress is not a word I like to use as I try to eek out a calmer existence these days...

But with framers, titles, timing, completion......help!

The prospect of two exhibitions in 4 weeks is starting to dawn on me, as up to this point, 2010 has been experimenting and playing with new ideas + ways of making marks on a blank piece of paper or canvas. So to be faced with exhibitions and a sense of completion is a little hard...

But let the games begin!

MAKE believe opens next Thursday May 6th at 6pm
