sticky beak......

Happy Chinese new year to you all!!
Ok I know Im a week early, but Im excited to welcome in The year of the Tiger....
Some say it will be a great year filled with many blessing and good luck!! I like that idea and hope for it to be true, as after two years of pain, and many hard times Im ready for a big shift in luck....Dont get me wrong it was not all dire but it was INTERESTING to say the least!

Above is an invite to The Genki Centre's new year celebrations and I will definitely be there with bells on....Alittle while ago I mentioned The Genki centre to you, as it is a place where I, firstly, have my acupuncture for healing, and secondly, have some of my work in a tiny exhibition...

Well .... I can now let you know that my works are all happily placed on the walls and below I have given you a preview of what I have exhibited. Im really happy with how it all looks, and hope that a few of these works go on to find new homes .... as they are all up for sale!!
{Sometimes it does feel like the process of adoption!!}

Green on green. Love it! This drawing was based on one of my favourite places in Sydney... Wendy Whiteley's garden in Lavender Bay...

The birds.... Always a favourite subject of mine as you may have guessed by now...

These 3 drawings are from my series on Morocco called The Crescent Moon...

Sorry...not the greatest shot !

Love the light in this image. I dont know what I like more.... my work being up in a lovely healing centre OR the sight of so much beautiful white light streaming in through the tiny window facing Parramatta Road??
Anyway it is truly an honour to have my work up on display in this space and I hope you get a chance to swing by and have sticky beak when youre next in Glebe!

Have a tops weekend...
and I hope you dont stick to your chair in all this humidity!! Nothing worse than forgetting to slowly peel yourself off your chair, and then suddenly realising that your legs are stuck to the seat!!
It can hurt!
