the zoo....part one.

Thought it was time for another one
of my tiny strolls around some of my favourite haunts...
with camera attached to the hip...
Hope you enjoy ...

Am I trying to tell you something?
The colours baby!

Love this signage on a cafe back entrance...

The light.
Love this old building in East Sydney...
Looks like nature is winning with the trees
becoming a natural roof canopy !

The light part 2....
where new Sydney looks onto old city...

New exhibition by award winning photographer Kate Geraghty called Displaced futures.
Its a black +white show of the displaced refugees in The Democratic Republic of Congo...
Sad but beautifully photographed....
Such a worth while show at King st gallery on William ...

St Marys...
Imposing building but not in this light...

Martin Place and its stack of buildings..
Love the fractured light reflected onto the building...

This is one way to string up a tree!
Looks like a sculpture...

They are not real.... no edible fruits here!

Beautiful memorial to The Great Irish famine at the Hyde Park Barracks...
Love the empty park bench and fallen leaves too...
Poetic...

The sculpture was constructed by artists Angela and Hossein Valamanesh...
Its like a still life painting....

Beautiful foyer in Martin Place..
Reminds me of Mad Men... very evocative of a time and a place
when men wore hats and women always carried a hankie...

The beautiful bird installation in Angel Place.
It's a beautiful place to sit and listen....
Hope you enjoyed part one
