This week I had a tiny request... My lovely friend Mel had asked me to post up the finished woven bowl that I was asked to make, or interpret from this drawing above - called Mosaic. So on this quiet Saturday morning I thought I would quickly post these images of the new piece for you....
I hope you think I did a good job of it? It was hard to get in all the colours and interpret them in a 3D form! Much harder than I thought! But I loved the challenge...
And Jess and Dom love their new addition to their house. So much so that they were thinking of framing it! Now that's a compliment...Thank you both!!

Oh and I just wanted to quickly say how sorry I was to hear this week of the passing of Gil Scott Heron. An amazing poet, activist and soulful singer...
