Camperdown Oval + Playground... January 2013

For a little while now Ive been sitting on some very exciting news.
News that Ive been wanting to share with you but couldn't...
Until now.

Last year you may have seen that I was involved with a brilliant new pop up project in the Sydney suburb of Crows Nest, where I played with 7 other amazing local artists', in two empty spaces for six months. We exhibited our work, taught workshops, worked on commissions, and basically enjoyed our time sharing our creative projects with the community.

It really was a great project ... and as such it has been given an extension by the local council so more artists' can get involved and get inspired.

But I had a feeling it was time to move on.

So I moved out in December and have been working back at home in the little cobwebs + laundry studio underneath the house...

- until now -

As I have just secured a new studio space in Camperdown!

I am so excited to be working in a new area and a new space.

And in the coming few months Ill be letting you know about some new workshops ill be running, along with an open studio weekend in association with Marrickville Council ...

But for now I just wanted to welcome you to my new area. So I guess you could call this post my version of a welcome wagon basket of goodies!

And as you can see from these few photos that I took yesterday... 

the area is already inspiring me.
